International balloon festival was held on August 13 in Bristol. The event was attended 81 balloons. For the first time in a festival attended a balloon with a glass bottom, a flight on which a cause for concern even in a pilot with 18 years of experience. Nearly half a million people from across the country gathered at this event, which takes place every and lasts for four days.

Balloons are a good subject to photography because of the wide variety of bright colours they are made from.
Interesting to see that most of these shots have been taken at night time when the camera can capture the contrast between the fire inside the balloon and the dark nights sky.
I absolute love the night time shots. The colors look so sharp and brilliant. You must have had one difficult time getting the exposure set correctly on those photos with the varying degree of darkness in the scene. Very good job!
